Welcome; @Einstein and @Skull Kid , to Anarchy at the All-Star Arcade! As you've read in #rules, it's now time to decide your characters and your personal objectives together. The character theme for this Objective game is video game characters, or characters that come from a video game. Every character theme tends to have a grey area where the character's applicability is hazy - when it comes to these sorts of cases, Superb and I will give judgment on whether it's a valid character or not. Your objectives have to be similar to each other - the intended meaning of this is 'have your objectives tie into each other in some way', but if you want your two objectives to just be coincidentally similar - go ahead! Get creative! Be allies, be enemies, be rivals - you don't necessarily have to work together. Once you've decided, ping either one of us [@Hornet , @Scorpion] with your choices. Remember - we will design the game around your picks. Whatever you pick as an objective, we'll make it possible - and whoever you pick as a character, we'll design stuff for that character. You're going to have until 6PM EDT, July 4th to talk this out and decide what you'll be picking. Feel free to ask us any questions in these channels, if you want to. In case you're having trouble figuring out where to start, you could answer these questions out loud, see if you can get a discussion going on things you both like: 1. What are some of your favourite video game characters? 2. What are some of the games with your favourite music?

alright let me put some of my thoughts about this in the chat, apologies for not being around till now. for games with my favorite music, I like OFF, Your Turn to Die, Persona 3, 4, and Q, the first three paper marios, deltarune/undertale, homestuck games, cuphead, danganronpa, madworld, the first two no more heroes, skyward sword, wind waker, majora's mask, shin megami tensei nocturne and strange journey, kingdom hearts, monster hunter, the banjo-kazooie games, kirby's return to dreamland, zero escape 999, jimmy and the pulsating mass, and the sexy brutale. I don't really have any particular characters, but I'd probably want to pick something from a franchise no one else has.

hm for me I really like Submachine's OST, a lot of Zelda games, Ultrakill, Monster Hunter, Undertale, Dusk, a lot of OSTs made by Ben Prunty (FTL, Into The Breach) and a lot more really

I was thinking about playing Einstein which is the name of a cat in Submachine that breaks the laws of physics because I thought it'd be funny and it's only for a turbo

But we should find something that gives us similar objectives

Objective games have a lot of RP in them but it's not mandatory

I do really enjoy it for the RP myself tho

as far as characters I might prefer to play... I'm pretty well versed in danganronpa, but that might be taken by someone else in a different group if i wanted to play, say, nagito komaeda

hmm the cat in submachine is known to be troublesome because of how often it disappears and reappears so maybe something about annoying someone else

push an important item off of a table/counter/ledge

would be a good one

so maybe you could have an objective related to annoying/mildly inconveniencing other players

@Hornet to summarize, I as Skull Kid from Majora's Mask, with a goal of obtaining said mask and dropping the moon, Brine as Einstein from Submachine with the goal of pushing an important item off a table/counter/ledge, with the connection being both dropping something (started out with the connection of both being, like, pranks, but idk if I can really count dropping the moon as a prank tbf). Does that work well?

@Skull Kid but all you need to know is - majora's mask was in helsinki, finland or a generic city where a festival was going on - due to the weird shit that went on in that game (there were two games), one of the following outcomes happened: - exploded while in majora's mask wrath while on a space elevator being hit by a meteor - got shot to death by the person they were possessing (pinstripe potoroo from crash bandicoot), moon that was going to crash got blasted by a MOON-GO-AWAY-INATOR by doctor doofenshmirtz
